Vascular Diagnostics
Non-invasive vascular studies provide diagnostic tools to help physicians diagnose blood flow problems throughout the body. All procedures are performed utilizing state-of-the-art ultrasound diagnostic equipment to examine the arms, legs, aorta and carotid artery.

EKG (Electrocardiogram)
An electrocardiogram examines the electrical activity in your heart by recording the electrical impulses. These impulses form a certain pattern of waves, and changes in that pattern can indicate a problem. This test will show if you have problems with your heart rhythm and may be used to diagnose atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, or other SVAs (supraventricular arrhythmias).

Holter Monitoring
A Holter Monitor is a portable EKG that provides doctors with a constant reading of your heart rate and rhythm over a longer period, usually 24 hours. Holter monitoring is used to detect abnormal heart rhythms while the patient conducts everyday activities. Patients are asked to keep a diary during this time to record any symptoms. The Holter monitor is battery-operated and has five to seven leads (wires) attached to small metal electrodes. Much like the EKG, these electrodes are attached to your chest and record electrical activity in your heart over a 24-hour period.
